Driving Out the Spirit of Fear and His Companions by MDommel

2 Timothy 1:7 {NKJV}                                                                                                                    For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Over the past two years I have noticed that the enemy has increased his attacks on the Fellowship of Believers throughout the world.  The spirit the enemy has leading these attacks is the spirit of fear.

Ephesians 6:12-13 {The Complete Jewish Bible}                                                               For we are not struggling against human beings, but against the rulers, authorities and cosmic powers governing this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realm. 13 So take up every piece of war equipment God provides; so that when the evil day comes, you will be able to resist; and when the battle is won, you will still be standing.

As one of the Lord's spiritual warriors it has fallen to me to stand firm against these attacks within the area He has given me to protect.

The Lord has made know to me that there are other spiritual warriors throughout the world who have heard the same message, and who are standing firm against this spirit and those he brings with him.

As I have sought after the Lord for more information concerning how to engage the spirit of fear, He has given me the following information.

Fear is not a feeling; fear is not an emotion; fear is not an experience.  Fear is a spirit, a demon sent by the enemy.  The purpose, the assignment of this spirit/demon is to paralyze the Lord's followers and make them fear the consequences of standing firm for the Him.

Earlier I spoke to the truth that the spirit/demon of fear does not come alone, but brings others with him.  His primary allies in his assignment to paralyze the church with the fear of any consequences for those who are attempting to stand firm for the Lord are, the spirit/demon of doubt, the spirit/demon of distraction, the spirit/demon of disruption, and the spirit/demon of discouragement.  When working together these spirits/demons can seem to be an intimidating and unbeatable force.

But they are not!

Is not to difficult for us to defeat these spirits/demons!  We have been given all we need to overcome them and their purpose!  I say this with the utmost confidence because the Lord, in whom I have the utmost confidence says this!  In the His written Word, the Lord speaks to us about this in both the Old Testament and the New Testament.

I'm going to share with you the foundational principles, from His Scripture that the Lord has shared with me.
